Introducing The Kaleidoscope Company:
A competition and performance team

The Kaleidoscope Company is a supplemental program for Brass Butterflies pole and aerial arts students who wish to broaden and intensify their practice through performance and/or competition. When added to a regular Brass Butterflies membership, joining the Kaleidoscope Company gives students access to a weekly team training and coaching session, as well as additional company exclusive times in the studio to train and rehearse. The Company members are coached and mentored by instructors who are experienced in performance and competition and they also become part of a community of peers who will support each other as a team.

Act Creation Classes

Once you’ve established the foundations of your pole or aerial practice you can begin to explore your apparatus creatively. This class is dedicated to supporting students through the creative process from idea to reality. Students will choreograph their very own performance over the length of the session, supported by an experienced instructor. Opportunities will be made available for Act Creation students to perform at studio showcases and coffee houses, should they wish to. These classes run as 8-Week sessions and cost the same as a curriculum class (can be paid for with the Curriculum Class purchase options or membership curriculum credits). These sessions are supplemental to the curriculum so while students will be supported in exploring creative variations of skills they’ve already learned, no new skills will be taught in these classes. Every student will work at their own level.

Act Creation Schedule Term 1 (Jan/Feb 2020)

Tuesdays 5:00-6:00pm Act Creation - Aerials with Steph
Sundays 12:00-1:00pm Act Creation - Aerials with Steph
Sundays 4:30-5:30pm Act Creation - Pole with Betty
