Halloween Cabaret Show!👻

Showcases by Brass Butterflies are a celebration of our students' accomplishments and our studio community. As a student, there are a couple of different ways that you can perform in a showcase. You can participate in an instructed troupe (a series of classes where you learn group choreography, instructed by a Brass Butterflies instructor), or you can apply to perform a DIY (Do It Yourself / Self-choreographed) act.

Our next annual Nightmare on King Street: Halloween Cabaret Show, co-hosted with Sassy Ray Burlesque, will be held at Maxwell’s Concerts and Events, Waterloo, on Friday, October 23, 2026. This show will feature pole dancing, burlesque, chair dancing, heels dancing, drag, comedy, singing, and more! Will you be part of the Nightmare?

DIY Choreography for Individuals 👻 and Small Groups 👻👻

For performers who would like to create their own act to perform in the Valentines Cabaret this is your opportunity! DIY performers who apply and are chosen to perform will receive benefits like access to exclusive performer only in-studio practice times, dress and tech rehearsals, performing in a professional venue, and more!

This is a 19+ licensed event. The show will have mature themes and content.

This is a voluntary showcase performance opportunity and no compensation will be provided to DIY performers.  

Though we would like to invite everyone who applies to perform, in order to keep the show to a reasonable length, performance slots are limited. Priority will be given to Act Creation class students, and other current students and staff of Brass Butterflies.
