Harness Flying with Joanne Galligan

FLIP, SPIN & FLY! 

Harness work is as close to flying as you will get!  This dynamic and acrobatic workshop will have you doing front and back flips, spinning and orbiting, and partnering to create an aerial dance.

About Joanne:

Joanne Galligan, Circus Artist

Joanne is a Toronto-based Aerial Circus Instructor, Calisthenics Coach, and Personal Trainer.  She currently coaches in Toronto and across Canada.  

Training circus arts since 2005, and teaching since 2009, she has had the opportunity to travel across Canada, the USA, and Europe coaching athletes, actors and dancers.

She completed her Personal Training Certification through CanFitPro (2015), the CrossFit Gymnastics Course (2017), as well as her Foundation Level Trapeze Teacher training from the New England Center for Circus Arts. 

She firmly believes in hard work, but also that fitness should have an element of fun for it to be sustainable.

Workshop Length: 2 Hours

Prerequisites: Strong double knee hang and double arm hang under the bar, able to perform a pullover and hold a 10 second hip balance. Intermediate and above in Brass Butterflies pole or aerial curriculum. If you are an advanced beginner, please speak to your instructor to see if you might be able to attend.

Attire: Form fitting athletic clothing with armpits and backs of knees covered. 

NOTE: because of very limited capacity, late cancellation window for these workshops is 72 Hours

Price: $90 + HST / person
